Heyo Smokers! February Cigar Society picks are here, and we are so excited to share them with you! This month we have three cigars for you. Two completely new releases and a classic to round out the bunch.

CAO Flathead Resonator

The newest release in CAO’s Flathead series. For those of you who don’t know the Flathead series was inspired by the American Muscle car, pin-up girls, and the culture surrounding racing. The Resonator is the largest size in the series measuring in at 8×60. It is a box-pressed shape and features a wrapper of Connecticut broadleaf, a binder of Connecticut Habano, and a filler blend of Dominican Ligero and Nicaraguan Ligero tobaccos. A medium to full-bodied smoke you’ll pick up flavors like walnut, cedar, leather, cacao, and touches of sweetness such as ripe berries and black currant.

Punch Dragon Fire

Another new market release! In celebration of the 2024 Lunar New Year Punch has created the Dragon Fire for the Year of the Dragon! This will be the newest addition to their Lunar New Year Series. A dark rich Mexican wrapper covers fillers from Esteli Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, and Honduras, all held in place by a Nicaraguan Condega binder. The Dragon Fire has the same ring gauge as the Resonator, 60, but it comes in a little shorter at 5 inches. This Robusto Gordo was created to mimic traditional Chinese fireworks and they even come in a firework-inspired box! The Dragon Fire is a full-bodied cigar with notes of coffee, chocolate, and a touch of spicy pepper. 

Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua

This classic cigar was awarded #1 Cigar of the Year by Cigar aficionado with a near-perfect rating of 96. The Quattro Nicaragua was a collaboration between Rafael Nodal, owner of Aging Room, and A.J. Fernandez, the famous cigar blender. Made from all Nicaraguan tobacco this medium to full-bodied cigar starts with black pepper before melding into flavors of dark chocolate, cedar, caramel, and toasted almond all balanced out by a lovely creaminess.
