Holiday Wines for Every Cheermeister!
Seasons Greetings, friends! The holidays are here, and our Cellar Society lineup for this month is as impressive as the glittering lights and decorated trees and beautifully wrapped presents. Our resident wine lovers have curated a beautiful list of wines for you to enjoy by the fire in your pajamas or take to holiday gatherings!
Sophisticated & Bolder Things
Pedroncelli Sauvignon Blanc
From Sonoma County, this crisp Sauvignon Blanc delivers refreshing notes of green apple, lime zest, and a hint of floral fragrance. The bright acidity makes it a fantastic pairing for seafood appetizers like oysters or smoked salmon. Its zippy profile also works wonderfully as an aperitif.
Pedroncelli Sonoma Classico Red Blend
This red blend is a harmonious mix of Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, and Syrah, offering notes of dark cherry, plum, and baking spices. Its smooth tannins and balanced finish make it a versatile choice for pairing with everything from pasta Bolognese to smoked turkey.
The Pedroncelli Winery has been crafting wines in Sonoma County since 1927. Family-owned and operated for four generations, the winery focuses on approachable, food-friendly wines that highlight the character of Dry Creek Valley.
Bolder Things
Marqués de Murrieta Rioja Reserva
Hailing from the heart of Rioja, this wine is a timeless classic. Aged to perfection, it boasts aromas of ripe red berries, subtle spice, and a touch of vanilla from American oak. On the palate, it’s beautifully balanced with fine tannins and a lingering finish of dried fruit and sweet spice. Pair this with roasted lamb or charcuterie for a cozy evening by the fire.

King Estate The Soldier Cabernet Sauvignon
Crafted as a tribute to perseverance and courage, The Soldier from Columbia Valley is a showstopper. Its robust aromas of black currant, blackberry, and espresso lead into a palate rich with plum, cassis, and leather. Aged 24 months in French and American oak, this wine has chewy tannins and a structured finish. Serve it with prime rib or a hearty beef stew for a memorable holiday meal.
King Estate, located in Oregon, is renowned for its commitment to sustainable farming and world-class winemaking. Established in 1991, the winery combines innovation with a deep respect for the environment, producing exceptional wines that reflect their unique terroir.

Lo Zoccolaio Barolo
This aged Italian gem exudes sophistication. Made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, it displays a bouquet of dried roses, tar, and truffle. The palate is layered with flavors of ripe cherry, tobacco, and a hint of licorice, supported by firm tannins and a long finish. Barolo is a wine for grand occasions, pairing beautifully with mushroom risotto or roasted game.
Lo Zoccolaio is a boutique winery located in Barolo, Italy, specializing in producing high-quality wines that capture the essence of the Langhe region. With a focus on traditional methods, Lo Zoccolaio produces Barolos that are both elegant and age-worthy.

A lush and opulent red blend from Napa Valley, this wine combines Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petite Sirah.
