November Cigar Society Cigars

10 Seconds led to a Legacy

Hello and Welcome Friends! I am so pleased to announce that the selections for the Vineyard Market’s November Cigar Society are in! We are going to be featuring Alec Bradley Cigar Company and Luke Davis has hand picked three of them for the month! Alec Bradley was founded in 1996 by Alan Rubin. The company is named after his sons Alec & Bradley Rubin. Alan tells the story of their success all started with one 10 second encounter with Ralph Montero, which led to their partnership and the making of their first collaboration the Occidental Reserve.

Now without further ado, our November Picks!

Alec Bradley Post Embargo: Blend Code B15

This new limited release is a throwback to the original Post Embargo, which was created as a reminder that there are no longer only two categories of cigars: Cuban and Non-cuban. This cigar and its predecessor is a reminder of the rich and diverse cigar community that expands to places all over the world. With a pure Honduran wrapper and binder, and a blend of Honduran and Nicaraguan tobacco filler, the Post Embargo: Blend Code B15 definitely meets that goal. Each one hand rolled at the Raices Cubanas factory in Honduras. This medium bodied cigar has an earthy and spicy profile accented with the slight sweetness of cocoa and balanced with a smooth nuttiness.

Alec Bradley Magic Toast 5th Anniversary

That’s right you all, we’ve got another limited release for you this month! Can you believe it’s been five years since they released this line? And to mark the special occasion, they’ve made it perfecto! The pun is intended folks! The shape of this Magic Toast is a perfecto and there were only 2,000 boxes sent to the U.S. That makes them super rare, and you get one in with your membership this month! The Magic Toast 5th Anniversary features a Honduran wrapper, and a blend of both Nicaraguan and Honduran tobaccos for both the binder and filler. This medium bodied cigar falls on the lighter side with notes of chocolate, almond, leather, cedar, and honey.

Alec Bradley Gatekeeper

This incredible line of cigars is the second line the Rubin brothers launched. Alec & Bradley collaborated with Ernesto-Perez Carillo to make this blend, and we all know and love his genius blends. The gatekeeper features an Ecuadorian wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and a blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobacco filler. The flavor of those combines brings out notes of earth, cocoa, espresso, red pepper flakes, and a touch of sweet dark fruit.

But wait there’s more…

In addition to our beautiful Alec Bradley line up above, this month we are also having our annual Arturo Fuente event on November 30th! You don’t want to miss this event friends! We will be featuring the allocated Arturo Fuente cigars of the year, which will only be available at this event. Call us at (417)882-0399 today to get your ticket! Then of course I would be doing you all a disservice if I didn’t mention that our Caymus Friendsgiving wine dinner is coming up.
